Active Brothers
Matt's a chemcial engineer. He pledged in the Spring of
2009 as the part of the Rho pledge class. Matt will invent
a drug which will cure diabetes and erectile disfunction.
However, side effects will include vivid hallucinations and
strong sexual urges, the result of which is that 'Grossbach'
will become a household term for accidentally fornicating
with inanimate objects.
"No high fives in the kitchen!"
Dan is the fraternity's sole electrical engineer and is part of the Rho
pledge class. He plans to pursue graduate school in Materials Science at
UD. Currently he does undergraduate research in Materials Science with
Professor Doty and is a cell tester at the Institue of Energy Conversion.
Some of his hobbies include basketball, football, chess, and hanging out
with friends.
"My philosophy is basically this. And this is something that I live
by. And I always have. And I always will. Don't ever, for any
reason, do anything to anyone, for any reason, ever, no matter what.
No matter... where. Or who, or who you are with, or, or where you are
going, or... or where you've been... ever. For any reason, whatsoever."
Matt Benjes is a chemical engineering major at UDel, and is the secretary of
Sigma Phi Delta. He pledged during the Fall 2010 semester and is a member of
the Upsilon pledge class. His interests in engineering include fuel cells,
alternative energy sources, and bioprocessing engineering. When he’s not
studying for exams, he exercises his artistic side by drawing and painting.
Michael is a Mechanical Engineer from Hudson, OH. He is currently the business
manager of the Fraternity. Outside of the fraternity, Michael enjoys playing
basketball and just hanging out with the brothers. He currently works for the
Bell Company at the University of Delaware ISEB project as a field engineer.
When he graduates, he hopes to work for a construction company and then start
his own company down the road.
"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." -Thoreu
Once in a blue moon, the good lord reacheth down from heaven, points
at a child, and declares "This child shall have his balls cast in brass.
He will accomplish great things and be known as a badass." Zack Rogers
was one of these children. Born in the frozen wastes of Albany, New
York, he is blessed with exceptional talent in shenaniganery and
tomfoolery.
Tom is a Chemical Engineer at UD. He conducts research for the Materials Science department
and hopes to one day go to Graduate School for Electrical Engineering. Academics aside, Tom
is also a member of the YChromes, a seasoned drum set player, a big fan of Ultimate Frisbee,
and takes up tinkering with computers as a hobby.
I'm Chef. And yes I do cook. Born and raised in the non-hood part of
Baltimore. I enjoy going way too fast in my car, laughing at other
peoples expense and harassing people from my porch. In my free time I
go to school as a Mech. Engineer, whatever that is.
Delucca's a mechanical engineer. He pledged in the
Spring of 2009 as the part of the Rho pledge class.
Delucca will eventually become a tenured professor.
Thereafter he will use lectures as a means to insult
and berate students for their ignorance. When he's not
being a classhole, he's academic decathloning, doing
impressions of Canadians, winning at mathletes, and
playing or watching hockey.
"Why can't I click on 'deranged'?"
Anthony is a chemical engineer. He is a member of Sigma Squad
and enjoys the general shenanigans associated with it. He also
likes to play his guitar and piano and is also quite musically
apt for Rock Band, which is quite possibly the only video game
he's any good at. He is one of the strangest people he knows and
is very proud of that fact.
"Normally you guys are like...near far, but now you're like...up down...yeah"
The resident Dungeon Master hasn't earned infamy yet, and until
he does the website will barely recognize his existence.
Dan's a mechanical engineer. He pledged in the Spring of 2009
with the Rho pledge class. When he graduates he'd like to go to
graduate school for material science. He plays the piano and
the guitar, spends lots of time on his computer, enjoys technology,
and plays Magic.
"So I decided to look badass on my tricycle..."
Drew's a mechanical engineer. He pledged in the Spring
of 2009 as the part of the Rho pledge class. Drew will
earn infamy when a deadly virus is formed among the layers
of clothing littering his room. He has no hobbies, interests
or activities.
"Where am I, and where are my pants?"
I'm mark stader; I'm a chemical engineer. I enjoy walks in
the park and taking time off to study the mating rituals
between hobbits and leprechauns.
Andrew is studying mechanical engineering at UD. He pledged in fall 2010
as a member of the Upsilon pledge class. Currently, Andrew performs
research at UD's Center for Composite Materials which involves finite
element modeling and analysis. Outside of class and work, he enjoys
playing video games, building with LEGO's, and occasionally messing
around with computers.
"What the hell is an Aluminum Falcon!?"
Doug is a mechanical engineering major with a concentration in aerospace
engineering and pledged in the Fall of 2011 as the president of Phi class.
He is an ex-mechanic with certifications from BMW and Audi. He loves cars,
planes, and just about anything else with an engine. Doug hopes to design
advanced jet aircraft when he graduates.
